Hi! With age my under eye hollows deepener as cheek sank. I am wondering between 3 procedures which one would be best in addressing the hollows and connecting the midface to lower eye area? Blepheroplasty vs facelift vs fat transfer? Can I just do fat transfer alone to give a significant benefit to hollows?

Answer: Fat transfer I would recommend fat transfer since you do not herniated fat pads or excess skin. This can be done under local in the office.

Answer: A Robust HA Filler Cheek Augmentation Can Also Secondarily Improve Under-Eye Hollows Blepheroplasty is expensive, invasive surgery with all the attendant issues of post-surgical downtime and possible adverse consequences, such as scarring. Fat transfer is also not without its issues. Despite the claims, the fat when transplanted into the recipient site and separated from its original blood supply does not necessarily survive much longer than traditional robust HA fillers. So, the use of a robust HA filler for cheek augmentation if properly by an experienced physician can not only contour a more feminine, heartshaped face but can secondarily improve the hollows under the eyes and create a more gradual transition between the upper cheek and the lower lid regions. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

Answer: Lower Blepharoplasty with Mid-face lift would help To address your concerns effectively, the recommended procedure is a lower blepharoplasty with SOOF (Suborbicularis oculi fat) and a mid-face lift. This combination of treatments is a comprehensive solution for eliminating the visible border between the under-eye area and the cheeks. Lower Blepharoplasty with SOOF:This surgery is designed to rejuvenate the lower eyelid area. By repositioning the suborbicularis oculi fat pad, it fills in hollow areas under the eyes, creating a more youthful and smoother transition between the lower eyelid and the cheeks. It also reduces bags and wrinkles in the lower eyelid region. Mid-Face Lift:A mid-face lift focuses on lifting the tissues of the cheek area. It restores lost cheek volume and improves overall facial harmony, ensuring that the results of the lower blepharoplasty blend seamlessly with the surrounding facial features.
