Is it normal to have alot of pain in your nose after having the splints removed after Septoplasty?

This is not what I would expect to happen. Almost everyone's pain diminishes markedly after splint removal. You should have your doctor take a look to make sure you dont have an infection or some other explanation for your pain just to make sure you aren't missing something important.

This question is best directed to your surgeon. Yes, it is painful for a short period of time after removal of the splint.All the best,Talmage Raine MD
