Is it normal to have alot of pain in your nose after having the splints removed after Septoplasty?

I had my splints removed two days ago and I have alot of pain in my and around my nose. More then I did when I had the splints in. Is this normal?

This is not what I would expect to happen. Almost everyone's pain diminishes markedly after splint removal. You should have your doctor take a look to make sure you dont have an infection or some other explanation for your pain just to make sure you aren't missing something important.
