Does minor swelling from hyaluronidase injection make sense?

I have sensitive skin, as noticed by the doc that treated me. 30 hours ago I had a lot (> 500units of hyaluronidase) injected in one single spot. Now I still have a slightly puffiness at that spot. When I put pressure on it, there is a very slight pain, as if I have a very minor bruise, but there is no stiffness/discoloration at all. Does puffiness make sense considering the situation and amount of hyaluronidase that I had injected and how long will it take for it to subside? Thank you!

Yes, there can be swelling after any type of injection. It may last 1-2 weeks. It may also take a series of treatments to dissolve filler. Best, Dr. Emer

I don't know why you had 500u of hyaluronidase injected unless you had a vascular compromise. Swelling is not uncommon because there is some volume associated with this amount of enzyme. I would give it another day or 2. It is also possible that it is a bruise or whatever the underlying problem was that needed the hyaluronidase.
