CoolSculpt in a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that can reduce the number of fat cells in that area by 20%. There are a few side effect after having treatment done. Most common ones would be tenderness ,numbness and redness in the area due to suction. There can be a little bit of swelling and sometimes bruising. There is one side effect that is very rare but CoolSculpting does advise called Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia where instead the body will produce more fat cells in thearea. CoolSculpting would cover the costs of the patient's liposuction if this were to happen.

Thank you for your question. Risks arebruising, swelling, skin burn from freezing, tight feeling, numbness, andindentation. It will take 4 months to see actual full results. I would advise you to schedule a consultation with a boardcertified plastic surgeon for a detailed examination to discuss all possibletreatment options and what your expectations are.
Everyone is different when it comes to how the body responds to any cosmetic treatment or procedure. Typically, swelling can last anywhere from 3 days up to one week. As far as risks, once again, they accompany any cosmetic procedure, however it's important for the patient to provide their full medical history with their coolsculpting provider.
Most of my patients don't experience much swelling with CoolSculpting. Those who do report that it subsides within a couple of days. Of course, each individual is different. If you are prone to swelling, you may experience a little more discomfort and swelling than the average patient. As for other risks, CoolSculpting is a noninvasive procedure that has virtually no risk associated with it. The most common side effects are a tingly feeling, coolness or numbness, slight redness of skin, swelling and possibly bruising. All of these tend to resolve within hours to days. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who has been certified by Zeltiq to practice CoolSculpting.
In my experience swelling can last 1-2 weeks, and results shows in 2-3 months. Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified. I've attached a link where you can start your search.
You can experience some swelling and/or redness, which can last for several weeks after your Coolsculpting. Venus Legacy treatments and lymphatic massage can give improvement. Keep in mind, it will take about 3-6 months to see your final results. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative. Thank you for your question. Some of the side effects associated with coolsculpting are swelling, bruising or tenderness in the area for up to 2 weeks post treatment. Every individual is different and some may not experience any of these side effects. Regards.
Thank you for your question. It is common to have some swelling, numbness, and tingling after Coolsculpting treatment which typically resolves in a few weeks. It can take up to 3-4 months to see results in a treated area. If you are having any discomfort you can take Tylenol. I recommend addressing any concerns you may have with your treating physician. Best of Luck!
This is a very common side effect with Coolsculpting, however can vary widely from patient to patient. Wearing compression garments post treatment can help with this, and staying active after treatment is optimal. Typically the swelling does go down after 1-2 weeks, although again very individualistic. To date there are very few potential risks with Coolsculpting, bruising, swelling, and late on set pain are the most common. Remember to consider that it is non-invasive when comparing to other treatments, and there is no downtime. Find a certified practice with professionals who can give you a custom treatment plan. Happy Freezing!
Don't worry! A little redness after CoolSculpting is perfectly normal and will not last. Because CoolSculpting reduces the volume of fat underneath the skin rather than adding to it, your skin is not stretched. CoolSculpting uses a patented technique called cryolipolysis to lower the t...
Hello, thank you for the excellent question. Since CoolSculpting is not intended to be used as a weight loss treatment, it would not be recommended if you are obese. The ideal candidate for CoolSculpting is at or near their ideal and manageable weight and only wants to get rid of stubborn...
Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting® destroys fat cells beneath the skin using controlled freezing, a process called cryolipolysis. The procedure is not designed to tighten the skin and is therefore, primarily recommended for those seeking a moderate decrease in fat bulges or rolls. ...
