Excess and loose skin on my nose 1 year and 3 months post op. How can I fix this?

I had a rhinoplasty 1 year and 3 months ago, I have thick skin and according to my surgeon my hump was reduced, my tip narrowed. Now that my nose has healed the skin on my nose doesnt sit on the underlying framework, I can literally tug on the nasal skin on my tip area and when i press it down it looks so much better as it wraps around the framework. Is this swelling? do I need a revision? Also I experience swelling fluctuation does this mean my nose hasnt healed even though its past a year?

Thank you for your post. Without photographs or an in person evaluation it is difficult to assess what you are experiencing. At 1 year post op the results you see are pretty much final and you may consider a revision. It's best to have a thorough in person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss all of your treatment options. Best of luck!
