Ripped Scar Tissue After Breast Surgery?

22 days P Op. Threw a rock and I felt something rip. My breast moves more and feels heavy. No swelling just some pain and constant sensation. What should I do? Called the PS, he said should heal, but I'm very scared. How long will it take to heal, could this lead to more complications?

After a breast augmentation, I typically allow my patients to shower and swim after 1 week.  Can you still get an infection?  Yes, but your chances are pretty low.  Either way, make sure you get your incisions checked out right before you go swimming to make sure your incisions...

Your implants are likely causing some pressure on your chest wall as well as distending and stretching the intercostal nerves which all may contribute to the symptoms you are describing. Over time, 2-3 months, the pressure and tightness will generally improve.
