In my opinion, you should visit a hair loss expert. They will do a good history, examination with magnification, blood work and possibly biopsy. If you are still anemic, this needs to be corrected. It is possible that your hair loss can be active from other causes. This must be determined. If it is a telogen effluvium from the blood loss, this can take 6 to 12 months to resolve. In summary, you need a diagnosis for appropriate treatment to stop and reverse the hair loss.

You likely developed some kind of iron deficiency or possibly even a so called “iron deficiency anemia (IDA).” I would suggest seeing a hair loss expert as there may be a number of issues here. Correcting the iron deficiency may not always lead to full regrowth in these situations especially if some component of androgenetic alopecia is present.

If you bled a lot, you are probably recovering from anemia.  Telogen effluvium is hair shedding resulting from a medical problem in the body.   Once the anemia corrects, then the hair should recover.  I hope that your internist or gynecologist is monitoring  the blood loss.  You might need certain vitamins to help.  Only once the anemia is corrected will your hair regrow.

With the offending cause removed, you now have to wait for the hair to recover a process for Telogen Effluvium that usually takes 6-9 months or so
