Can I have ultrasonic cavitation/RF if I have titanium plates in jaw?

About 3.5 years ago, I had bottom jaw surgery and now have one small titanium fixing plate on either side of my jaw. I am looking into ultrasonic cavitation and RF treatments to reduce my double chin, but am concerned about the potential contraindication of having the metal plates. Is the possibility of me having this procedure done safely completely off the table?

It is more likely going to hurt you than help you. Transcutaneous ultrasonic devices will not melt fat or tighten skin.

If your doctor couldn't answer these questions, than you should find another doctor. Further, regardless of what high tech gizmo he/she's got planned, keep in mind you are getting liposuction first and foremost, and all that sculpty cavitation stuff is purely irrelevant. Don't get sucked into...

You will see no meaningful tightening with any type of 'skin tightening modality' like RF, ultrasound, or lasers. You will likely need a skin excising surgery. My comments are based on assumption, but a full examination would confirm.
