I have a 4 level lumbar fusion with cages. Can I have ultrasonic fat cavitation on my stomach and legs?

Yes, you may be a candidate for UAL of the abdomen & legs despite having had your lumbar fused at several levels, as long as proper positioning during the procedure will not compromise either you or the performance of the procedure. The areas in question require supine position on the operating room table and a “frog leg” position of the legs if your inner thighs are to treated. As long as you do not have limitations in your range of motion which precludes these positions, you should do fine. The Ultrasonic energy utilized during liposuction procedure is well localized and will not have adverse effects on the fused portions of the lumbar spine
