The barbed threads are using to elevate skin and tissue would be used to lift and tighten crepey skin. The other type of threads are smooth and these are used to stimulate and rebuild collagen in the deep dermis and subcutaneous space. In a situation like yours, the two types of threads are used in combination. You would see some improvement after the first treatment, and subsequent treatments would lead to better results.
