Question

How much % less pain and how much more % improvement Thermage FLX vs CPT? Is it more painful to treat thermage on face than abdomen? I'm 36, pregnant and got birth 1 child 8 years ago. Thanks.

you are a more liposuction/tummy tuck candidate hoewver if you want to do non invasive options trusculpt ID or coolsculpting with FLEX or emsculpt makes a huge difference. thermage Is good twice yearly for crepe ness but needs to be combined with morpheus every 2-3 months.  a combiatnion is really what you need. one thermage (doesnt matter the type) will do very little.  also there. is no difference between the new and old one its just time it takese for the procedure to be completed.
You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

Thermage FLX is generally considered to be a noticeable improvement over the previous CPT (Comfort Pulse Technology) system. While pain tolerance varies by individual, studies and patient reports often describe FLX as being approximately 20–30% less painful than CPT, due to its vibration-based cooling and optimized energy delivery system.
In terms of results, FLX also provides more consistent heating, which can lead to 10–15% better skin tightening outcomes&mdash;though exact numbers depend on skin quality, depth of collagen, and hormonal factors (especially post-pregnancy, as in your case).
When it comes to treatment areas, the face is usually more sensitive than the abdomen due to its thinner skin and proximity to nerves. Most patients tolerate abdominal treatments quite well, and FLX’s faster delivery also shortens the overall session time, reducing discomfort.
For postpartum laxity, especially around the lower abdomen, FLX can be a helpful non-surgical option to stimulate collagen and mildly tighten the skin&mdash;but realistic expectations are key. If there’s significant laxity or muscle separation, surgical options may provide more dramatic results.

Hello; assuming you are pregnant now of all, initially, since your abdominal skin is cracked and your belly button has changed shape, you should consider for surgery rather than Thermage method. Thermage FLX technique is extremely painless compared to Thermage CPT; because it has an extra vibration in its head, but it would not be suitable for your current situation. In these photos, you can see that; there is surplus fat in your waist and abdominal areas. Therefore, you will be very happy to first remove excess fat with Vaser liposuction and then perform a tummy tuck.
