I am 3 weeks post op from double jaw surgery and genioplasty. I had an anterior open bite and both my jaws were advanced forward. The genioplasty was a last minute decision on my surgeon's part to project my weak chin more. Looking at the results, I couldn't be more unhappy. The results of my jaw surgery are drastic enough but livable. However, I can't take having a chin that sticks out from my face like this. I've been severely depressed. Is this poptosis? I desperately want a reversal.
