Is there a way to reduce the appearance of white burn scars? (photo)

About a year ago I used a home laser hair removal kit around my bikini line (very stupid). While it did not remove any of the hair it did however scorch the surrounding area to the extent that I now have several tiny patches of white somewhat raised bumpy skin. I cannot stand the look of it, mainly because it instantly stands out due to the much lighter color and the overall uneven look. Is there ANY possible way to minimize the appearance of these scars in this very sensitive area?

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

White scars are already mature and are much harder to treat.  The only option at this point is to try fractional lasers either ablative (co2) or non-ablative (Fraxel DUAL or clear and brilliant), and see if they can give you some aesthetic improvement.  Although, the majority of the time the treatments at this stage of a scar development will only be mildly helpful.  Some people have found success with topical vitamin A (tretinoin) and silicone gel (Biocorneum), even in late stage scares.  However, nothing will fully get rid of the scar completely.
