I do not know anyone in your area who performs this procedure, but I have successfuly treated this condition many times with co2 laser. If you are interested in more information please contact me. Unfortunately, there is no best treatment option for this. I have achieved excellent results with dessication or cautery as well, but the co2 laser we have with the incision handpiece that we use for surgery works wonders on this condition. I wish you the best, Dr. Emer.
Hello Alex88:I am not in Tennessee but I am writing to suggest that you not get struck on CO2 treatment for this problem. I have been treating PPP for many years with multiple different modalities, and my experience is that CO2 is more painful and causes an unnecessary depth of destruction. I am involved in developing and patenting a device that uses a specific tip that precisely eliminates only the papule, not the surrounding skin, with preset energy settings and using only topical anesthesia. In time then more doctors will be able to provide these treatments safely and effectively. All the best from New York City, Sheryl Clark MD, FAAD

Hello Simon Jack: I am sorry but topical treatments will have no effect on these papules whatsoever. They are growths in the skin that will not go away without one if several procedures that eliminate them, leaving you with smooth skin in the treated areas. All the best from NYC, Sheryl Clark...
