I have fordyce spots on my penis and I don’t know what to do. I have had them for a while and they haven’t seemed to fade away. I’m to embarrassed to tell anyone or do not want to get laser. I heard retinol helps. Is that true? How can I get rid of them at home?

Pearly penile papules are treated with C02 laser or some other ablative procedure. One or two sessions are usually needed. The area is numbed prior to the laser. Unfortunately, since their is no medical necessity, insurance does not cover the process.

I am sorry but topical treatments will have no effect on these papules whatsoever. They are growths in the skin that will not go away without one if several procedures that eliminate them, leaving you with smooth skin in the treated areas.
