I've got an infection, got antibiotics and noticed today that there was a plastic wire sticking way out of the incision on the bottom scar underneath my breast. I had a reduction before and I had told the doctor that something like this happened to me and they had to remove it by pulling it out with wire snips at the doctors office. Is this what they call catgut or some other type of suture materials. I had to clip it a little because it is catching and pulling. ?
