Can the NuFace Microcurrent hand held device be used on areas that have been injected with botox?

Is it necessary to avoid areas that were injected with botox (specifically, crow's feet & wrinkle between brows) when using the NuFace Microcurrent device? It seems that toning or stimulating these wrinkle producing muscles after they have been paralyzed with botox would be counter productive and certainly not cost effective. Thanks

I suggest that patients don't have facials or microcurrent facials for 48 hours after injection. If you're past that point it should be ok. Home systems always have less power than in-office systems, so as long as you're following the directions and not overusing the device, or using it in...

Hi Alexa! Great question. It may be best to avoid stimulation over the masseter area until you know your results have stabilized. At two weeks, the results should be close. Then, maybe start in areas nearby to evaluate for any changes. I would think it should be fine long term. Hope that helps!

The injections were given a little too low below the crow's feet, or some diffused into those muscles. There is nothing you can do to make it go away. It will resolve.
