I had implant surgery 5-6 weeks ago. The healing cap fell out on Monday and was put back in on Saturday. The dentist was surprised by the pain and numbed the area. The pain started as soon as he inserted and started turning with his hand. The pain was sort of like when you put ice cold water on an open tooth or exposed root maybe?...best I can describe it. He didnt take any X-rays and just said it was tight when he was done. But him being surprised by the pain is still bothering me.
