From what I can see, it seems that tattoo lightening and removal isn't really helpful for darker skin. I keep trying to find good real pictures and reviews on the process...and all I turn up are a few photos of people with a lot of hypopigmentation or some scarring.I started my sleeve 5 years ago...and only recently had the funds to continue it. I had to find a new artist because the original one moved away. I did my research looked at portfoliios and read reviws. But sadly it seems the artist I chose was not that experienced with my skin tone, and didn't go a great job. I scabbed up badly after a week...and while Im healing ok now...the work on my upper arm is something I hate to look at.While I love the original work on my lower arm, I feel my sleeve is ruined with whats on my upper arm.So tell me what are my real options here? Because of my skin tone and the colors already used, a cover up or repair will be difficult. And Id love to lighten or remove this piece...but Im very worried about leaving my arm a scarred or blothcy mess.Thoughts?
