I am a 23 year old male, African-American with type 4 skin. I have heavy hyperpigmentation through my face due to dark spots from acne. As well as uneven skin tone with areas of darker skin due to skin damage. I was looking into getting a laser treatment and wondering which type of laser would be most effective for hyperpigmentation/uneven skin tone on brown skin. Additionally if the answer is Pico, could you specify which pico (I.e way/resolve/genesis)

Pico LASER can help lighten and eliminate hyperpigmentation from sun damage and some forms of scaring. Following aftercare instructions and staying out of the sun following any Pico (and all LASER treatments) will prevent the hyperpigmentation from worsening.
I would recommend the Alex-Trivantage laser for brown spots and sun spots on the arms, legs, face, and anywhere on the body. It usually only takes one or two treatments to remove all of these sun spots. It is the best laser for these type of lesions. Please consult an expert in laser treatments...
