CoolAdvantage hand piece popped off with 11 minutes remaining. How long should I wait to redo it?

The technician gave good advice! Being that you are petite, you want to make sure that you don't overtreat the area. You may see the exact results you wanted with the treatment you had. From what you describe the treatment was not completed and should be repeated after a minimum of 24 hours so that the area will have a good response.

You could have had the applicator reapplied for an additional 10 to 15 minutes without any problems on the day when it came off. You should be able to repeat the treatment anytime and you don't have to wait for one month. Good luck from New York City

I have been performing CoolSculpting for 8 1/2 years in my office and have never heard of problems with dimpling secondary to re-applying the applicator. Your treatment technician is correct in telling you that with the pop-off occurring 11 minutes before the cycle was completed, that the cycle was incomplete and does need to be treated. However,there is no need to wait for 30 days to reapply. In my office, we usually move to another area for treatment and then go back to the incompletely treated area and re-do the treatment the same day. Good luck with your results!
