CoolAdvantage hand piece popped off with 11 minutes remaining. How long should I wait to redo it?

Hi. I’m 115 lbs with some stubborn fat on my hips that I can’t get rid of with working out. I had my flanks done with the 35 min applicator and the right side popped off with 11 minutes remaining. The technician said to come back in 30 days to redo it. Is it safe to redo it that soon or should I wait longer and did anything get damaged since it didn’t go through the full cycle? She said to wait the 30 days to prevent dimpling since I’m pretty thin. Please help! Thanks

Hello,Thank you for your question. This can happen, especially when patients are on the petite side. The technician gave good advice! Being that you are petite, you want to make sure that you don't overtreat the area. You may see the exact results you wanted with the treatment you had. After 30 days you will have a good idea of weather or not you should treat again. Congratulations on your treatment and best of luck!

From what you describe the treatment was not completed and should be repeated after a minimum of 24 hours so that the area will have a good response.

You could have had the applicator reapplied for an additional 10 to 15 minutes without any problems on the day when it came off. You should be able to repeat the treatment anytime and you don't have to wait for one month. Good luck from New York City
