I've gotten lip filler 3 times, 2 syringes and 1 touch up to fix asymmetry. It is less noticeable when I don't wear any lip product but becomes more noticeable when I wear lipstick. Thank you
Answer: Hylenex Hi @channeldcm! These small bumps are likely nodules caused by the lip filler. If you were treated with a Hyaluronic Acid based filler, Hylenex can dissolve those bumps. Best of luck!

Answer: Likely scar tissue or superficial filler Filler migration and permanence is a very common problem because there are many different types of HA fillers on the market and each is specified for a specific part of the face. Use of highly cohesive fillers on thin skin may cause swelling and nodularity. If patients have filler migration or nodules, we recommend a combination approach of filler reversal with enzymes Hylenex and Hyaluronidase in different strengths to dissolve the filler. We may also need to add Kenalog to the mix in order to reduce fibrous tissue. If the filler does not dissolve, it either means the filler is not HA material or we need more enzyme. The HA reversal can be combined with other lasers and skin treatments at the same time, and it usually (usually) does not affect adjacent tissue. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: How recently were you treated? Thank you for your question! Those small bumps are likely nodules caused by the lip filler. Depending on how recently you were treated, these nodules may resolve on their own several days after your treatment. If you were treated weeks or months ago, the filler was likely injected unevenly. This happens more frequently when treated by an inexperienced provider. If you were treated with a hyaluronic acid-based filler (like Juvéderm, Restylane, or Belotero), hyaluronidase can dissolve those bumps. Hope this helps!

Answer: Bumps with lip fillers Hello channeldcm: The small papules you notice are most likely superficial filler papules, which can easily be dissolved with a tiny amount of #hyaluronidase. However, if they were present (but perhaps unnoticed because the lips were not as full) prior to treatment, they may be small benign growths that can easily be treated with electrodessication. I do this frequently in my practice, especially for #FordyceSpots, and the lips heal beautifully without scarring. Wishing you the best from NYC! Sheryl Clark MD FAAD

Answer: What are these two bumps & can I get rid of them? I've had lip filler 3 times Without in person examination I dx these as HA bubbles. Only HA dissolver injected into these "bubbles" "bumps" will resolve the issue. Why have you NOT returned to the injecting professional (MD?). Fee to seek dissolving is $500/sessions.
