Sculptra injection to nasolabial folds 4 weeks, swelling, pain and inflammation. Will a saline solution help? (Photo)

I had a bit more than half a Vial of Sculptra injected into both my nasolabial folds and have since experienced swelling, redness and burning pain in the area. My injector is a nurse and not a doctor, so I've been concerned about her management of this. We believe I've had an immune reaction to the product. The injector would like to use Saline solution to dissolve/remove the PLLA. My question is, will saline solution help or could it make matters worse by spreading the PLLA?

Answer: Prolonged swelling of Nasolabial fold following Sculptra injection
Hello PB,
The only treatments listed that I would not perform at the same time are the TCA Peel and Laser. I would treat you with subcision, Sculptra injection, and erbium laser at the same treatment session. Make sure to choose an expert in these treatments. Good luck and be well.
