During lockdown I started to pick my skin (I no longer pick since lockdown ended). It's left me with a few flat hypo-pigmented scars. The scars (which are 2-3 years old) turn red when exposed to heat, whether it be from the sun, the blowdryer or after a run. I'm mindful that I can never completely eliminate the scar, but is there a way to reduce it. In particular stop it from turning red? I've haven't found anything on google. Attached are two pics of the same scar, one red after heat exposure.
