How long after a c-section is recommended before going in for sleeve gastroplasty weight loss surgery?

I had a baby via c section 4 months ago . I'm no longer breast feeding and would like to book in for weight loss surgery ( sleeve Gastroplasty) . Is there any medical reason why I couldn't have this done (considering I had a cesarean section four months ago)?

You will need to consult a certify bariatric surgeon. But if you are no longer breast feeding, after a complete medical evaluation (lab work included, and with in normal range) there shouldn't be any contraindication for gastric sleeve .

There is no specific time limit. You can do it as soon as you feel up to it. Probably good idea to rest up for few months and go for it when you feel ready!

Hello, it is possible to have the Gastric Sleeve surgery 2 months after having C-section if you are not breastfeeding (and you are not in this case). Now, you are suitable to have Gastric Sleeve operation if there is not obstacle from any other disease; please note that you must to have a comprehensive check-up before the operation, check-up must be provided by the clinic/hospital.
