The best thing that you can do to help your body's lymphatic system do its job is to eat right (lean protein, leafy greens, healthy fate, complex carbs), drink lots of water, limit your alcohol consumption to a drink a day, exercise daily to work up a sweat and stay away from any kind of smoke. There is no doubt that a healthy functioning lymphatic system is necessary to clear ink particles after laser tattoo treatment. A balanced diet ( which will contain adequate anti--oxidants) and exercise is essential for optimum performance of all bodily functions at all times. Conversely, smoking HAS been demonstrated to prolong the tattoo removal process. So the seminal message is:- follow your doctor's post-treatment recommendations, eat well, exercise, stay healthy and don't smoke. It will still take time but you are giving yourself the best chance of a good outcome.
