Swollen lymph node in armpit 4 months after breast augmentation? Is this something to be concerned about?

Thank you for the question. This swelling could be from the surgery. If it is this will go down on its own. I would recommend not massaging it. You are doing the right thing by following up with your Gynecologist. Your age, history of mammograms, most recent mammogram and other medical history will help determine the next steps. Try not to worry. Your gynecologist may order an ultrasound to better determine if it is a lymph node or not.
