Some puckering does occur with PDO threads, these will generally drop out over the first few weeks. At 3 days there may also still be some swelling present which adds to the bumpiness of the skin.My general rule of thumb is that every day things should be a bit better, even if that's only a small amount, if that's not happening it is more of a concern. If you are concerned you are best to contact your doctor and ask them to review the treatment, especially if symptoms are getting worse
You don’t mention which thread lift modality youhave had, but would suggest my answer would be true of all treatments. Somepatients do experience some puckering post treatment, which usually relaxes andsettles after three or four days. If it does not settle after this time, it isworthwhile contacting your clinician for further advice. It is likely that the ‘lumps’you describe are parts of the thread which have been used to anchor underneathyour skin, and allow the threads to be pulled to create the lift part of thetreatment. These are designed to be reabsorbed by the body over time, however,if you have any concerns do contact your provider, but what you are describingis not uncommon for so soon after treatment.
Hello, and thank you for your question. Following a thread lift, swelling, bruising and puckering can all occur. Most of these side effects will improve within a week. If you are concerned about your healing process and results, I would recommend speaking with your surgeon. Best of luck!
Post procedure swelling, deep bruising, and puckering are all possible and to what degree depends on the patient and amount that was done. Most of these changes will greatly improve in the first week. Followup with the provider would be recommended if no imporovement.
