Based on your photo, it looks as if your best bet is going to be laser tattoo removal. The PicoSure laser is currently the best on the market working 3x faster than all other lasers. There is no quick way to remove tattoos. Surgical removal would leave big scars and require grafting in this area (most likely). I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist who does a lot of tattoo removal using pico or q switched lasers.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Unfortunately laser tattoo removal is a process, but with picosecond technology tattoos can be removed in fewer treatments. Pico lasers offer the most advanced technology. The fastest method would be excison however this is a large tattoo and technically difficult to do on your hand and will leave a argue permanent scar and a plastic surgeon will charge a fee in excess of laser tattoo removal. The picosure laser will be less expensive, not leave a scar and can be done in 4 sessions 8 weeks apart. The choices are enlighten from cutera, or picosure form cynosure. Ask for r20 to increase effectiveness of laser.
