I recently had my dental implant placed and the color doesn’t match my teeth. It’s near the front and it is very obvious. I am scheduled to get two other implant crowns placed in December and my dentist has suggested getting crowns on my front teeth to help with color matching. I have spent over $15k in my mouth because I’ve been seeing a periodontist that has performed the implant surgery but doesn’t specialize in actual crown placement, so I’m nervous about the new crowns. Using same dentist.

Answer: How to match the implant crown to the color of my natural teeth? (photos)
Hello, yes, root seems to be short, we suggest having a Ct scan done to check height and width of bone and relation to sinus membrane. Extraction can be done and implant and bone graft placed at the same time, after 4 months of healing and integration a new crown over implant can be placed.
You will be on soft diet during the healing time. It is not uncommon to allow the surgical site to heal before placing temporary teeth. I hope this helps answer your question about how you can eat.
