I did Septoplasty/ rhinoplasty in August, i started to sleep on the side in september started to worry if my nose can switch to the side, feel like its have been moved a little bit and has been little more crooked to the side now..

Can sleeping position make a nose more crooked after septorhinoplasty? The position you sleep in should not affect the end result of a septorhinoplasty. When the septum is crooked the whole nose has the potential to be crooked. When the nose is made thinner the crookedness may become more obvious. This may be camouflaged by swelling in the early few months after septorhinoplasty but become more obvious as the swelling goes down. Cartilage also has “memory“ and crookedness may relapse months after septorhinoplasty due to the Cartilage bending back to its original crooked form to some extent. At any rate it is due to the inherent crookedness of your septum and not the position in which you sleep.
