Perforated septum after a revision rhinoplasty - can a septoplasty help fix this?

I had a revision rhinoplasty done a month ago and i discovered i have a perforated septum im the back part of the septum. Would a septoplasty help fix this problem? I heard whistling 48 hrs after having the splints removed but thought it was just from the swelling or nasal obstruction but i had a big booger come out the other day and saw some blood clots in it and did a some investgating with a light and saw the light through the other nostril

Septal perforation repair should be considered if:you're suffering from whistling noisenosebleeds attributable to thissignificant airflow disruption resulting in crusting throughout the perforation
Perforation repair is quite challenging, so see an experienced nasal surgeon if you meet one, or more, of the above criteria. It's quite different from a septoplasty in terms of approach and techniques.

If the problem continues you
Might consider a septal repair. In the meantime use lots of saline nasal spray. Sometime the whistling can be corrected by actually making the hole larger if all else fails.
