I'm 30 years old. I have TMJ due to wisdom tooth extraction. I have been suffering from TMJ and limited opening for 5 years. I used an NTI device in 2010 I beleive caused my open bite. I have since switched to a traditional fitted (all teeth on the bottom.... not just the front) mouth guarf for grinding. I have never had orthodontic treatment. The open bite and crowding were never an issue until the extractions. Not sure if invisalign or tradtional braces would be best for me. Any advice is appreciated:)
