I see ad's all the time for fillers but there is never any indication of how much is needed. How many cc's of juvederm for under eyes minimum amount-maximum amount used. How many cc's of radiesse for nasal labia folds. minimum amount-maximum amount used.

Answer: Fillers are customized to need Injection of dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse is customized to each patient. There are a few things to keep in mind though: First, acheiving what is called "full correction" means the results last longer, and this may require more product. Second, sometimes adding a little bit of volume in the cheeks helps lift the fold at the bottom of the cheek (nasolabial fold) so it takes less there while improving the look of the cheek. Loss of volume in the face is one of the most significant aspects of aging, so the older the patient the more volume will be required to get a good result.

Answer: Recommended volume of filler There is no standard volume of filler for different parts of the face. Everyone's anatomy is different and everyone needs different volumes. The basic answer is that you need as much volume as is required to replace the missing volume in your face. I like to be on the conservative side. It is always better to come back in a few weeks for more filler than to have too much filler placed and have to wait 6 months to a year for it to dissolve. Good luck.
