I think I was too tan when I had this done one week ago. Have been putting aquaphor on it. I also have hydroquinone and cloderm. I'm being vigilant with sunscreen and within the last week have seen little improvement on the lateral legs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. There are tiny blisters that have pretty much gone down on the shins. The lesions aren't scabbed. They haven't had a chance too. I've been putting aquaphor

I agree with Dr. Dickerson, shaving after laser hair removal has no effect on the outcome. However, depending on the sight, shaving one to two weeks prior to the laser hair removal treatment can actually improve your outcome. The papilla with be thicker and have more contrast from your skin...
Hello, aloe vera and moisturizers are not typically needed after laser treatments. that being said If you want to use these things you can use them as often as you like. I recommend that you use sunscreen and to avoid tanning while having laser treatments. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for your question. The laser hair removal stimulates melanin in your skin. We tell our patients to avoid the sun for 2 weeks prior to laser hair removal and 2 weeks after. Best wishes.
