Without knowing the exact cap, it's difficult to say. If number of light emission focuses and wave length same, why not ? But you would better to try other possible treatments (procapil , minoxidil  or finasteride) for stopping hair loss because LLLT is not proven yet that %100 works on hair loss.  Some of the patients do not get any benefit from it.

The Chinese version of the laser cap is certainly less money but see if you can find a review that looks at the quality of it

Low level laser treatment (also known as PhotoBioModulation Therapy - or PBMT) can help hair growth, definitely.  No cap currently overcomes the problems of getting the light past the hair and to the scalp though.  I suggest you save your money until this problem is figured out.  When you do deceide to purchase, make sure you choose one with the wavelength in the range of 668-684nm since that is what corresponds to growth of hair follicles.
