Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give you advice without examining you in person. However, from your photo there does appear to be some significant swelling. I advise using an antibiotic ointment such as bacitracin and change the dressing daily. I recommend having a follow up with your treating physician for an evaluation. Best of Luck!
wait at least another week while following your drs post treatment recommendations. keep it lightly covered and use some bacitracin. it is likely normal healing. if still there and not resolving in the next week definitely go see the treating office. Good Luck

I would ask you doctor to look at your tattoo. It seems like there is more swelling than I would normally see. I'm wondering if there is a burn or infection going on. Perhaps a steroid cream is needed.
