Will I be able to wear my retainer without pulling my front tooth out?

One of my front teeth was knocked out during a game of basketball about 5 months ago. I've been afraid to wear my retainer ever since the accident in fear of pulling my tooth out. I want my teeth to move back to its original place.

Make an appointment to see your orthodontist.  Bring your retainer and have them evaluate the fit of the retainer and if wearing it will help move the tooth back into position

Great to hear that you were able to stick your tooth back into the socket and it has stabilized. I would suggest visiting your orthodontist and allowing them to evaluate the fit of your retainer. This should put your fears to rest. I would also suggest wearing a protective mouth guard during sports in the future. This tooth may not be able to withstand another strong blow.
