Will Laser Hair Removal Help Keratosis Pilaris?

I have kp pretty bad on my upper arms and makes me very self conscious. Will laser hair removal get rid of the kp or at least make it better? Are there any other solutions for kp? I'm pretty desperate and willing to spend a good chunk of money to get rid of those bumps!

Hi anon.  If a patient has waxed, plucked or otherwise removed the hair we are supposed to be treating, we normally ask them to wait 4 weeks before returning for a treatment.  Hope this helps.

Hi Tlowke.  We do not know of any physicians that actually perform laser hair removal procedures  so in our area, it's usually a nurse regardless of where you go.  As for the pattern after treatment, what we would let you know is that you are not supposed to overlap the...
