Hello, I had my breast Aug thus morning. I felt fine upon waking up. But I've thrown up twice after eating light and taking either pain meds or muscle relaxants. Can I take anti nausea pills along with both muscle relaxants & pain meds at the same time to prevent throwing up? When should I be concerned? Can I take my all the prescribed meds at once? Can I take my multivitamins along with prescribed meds? Thanks so much in advance!

Answer: Nausea after breast augmentation Yes, you can take anti nausea medication with your other medications, often it is prescribed that way. And hopefully this has already resolved, but if I would agree it is best to call your doctor with immediate post operative concerns like this. If you were my patient, I would want you to call me so we could go through your specific case and meds and come to the right solution. I would be horrified if my patient felt more comfortable asking strangers on real self about an immediate post op problem. I know you, and many patients like you, would rather suffer in silence or post a question on the internet rather than " bother your doctor " after hours or on the weekend. But we want you to call us, we have mechanisms set up to get you immediate help from us or our office. I always tell my patients ," I sleep better knowing you will call me with problems. I do this surgery all the time! you do not. The patient is not supposed to have all the answers. I prefer a two minute phone call than you worrying about something." Best of luck, and I am sure it will all be worth it once you have healed.
