At 18 will my breast still grow and is there any safe, healthy ways to increase the size?

Hi,No cause for alarm! We see many patients who have this issue at much older ages.If you would ever want implants, you can get saline at age 18, but have to wait until age 22 for gel.  Be sure to see only board certified plastic
surgeons that are members of ASAPS and or ASPS and have an established high
volume breast augmentation practice, doing several hundred augmentations each

I am sorry you feel poorly endowed compared to family members, but your growth may not yet be complete, and there can be hope of further breast development. Your own height, pants size, and bra size changes are clues to completion of growth, but I have seen many women who continue breast deveopment well past age 18. Unfortunately, that's not true for every woman, so you could also be done growing your breasts.Birth control is designed to prevent unwanted pregnancy, but unfortunately are often touted for acne, weight, period regularity, cramping, and breast development reasons. I personally would not recommend taking birth control unless you are sexually active and do not want to get pregnant. Also, birth control medications do not protect you from STDs, and they only prevent pregnancy if you take them as prescribed.If you want to see if your hormonal status is correct, you may want to consult an endocrinologist or gynecologist that specializes in hormone evaluation. I would highly recommend a clinic that uses bio-identical hormone therapy rather than Premarin, Provera, or other synthetic hormones. Get a comprehensive work-up, and if your hormones are deficient, custom-compounded bio-identical hormone supplements may help correct your breast growth issue.BTW, there are NO creams, exercises, or bust developers that work. I am not a proponent of fat grafting into normal breasts (it's NOT "natural" and CAN interfere with he detection of breast cancer via physical exam and mammogram). Brava suction devices only yield a half to maybe a cup of enlargement, and enlargement does not last long-term.Breast implants remain the half-century tested and safest option for breast enlargement, and are the number one cosmetic surgery procedure in this country for 6 of the past 7 years. The only event that may change the size and shape of your breasts is pregnancy, some times patients may have growth of their breasts, however some patients may have decrease in size. There are no drugs or medicines that will make your breasts bigger. There are some devices available for stimulation of growth, however the increase in size was at best, minimal and the device was never successfully marketed (Brava device).The only proved way to increase the volume of your breast are implants, fat grafting may become common in the future, however currently there are some questions that need to be answer in a scientific way, most surgeons in the US do not recommend it, due to the possible stimulation of cancer cells if present and the legal consequences.
