Bumps and tightness / pulling feeling after laser lipo abdominal

I had abdominal laser Lipo 2 weeks post op I am seeing a lot of bumps and unevenness Particularly what is concerning me the most is that when I lean backwards it is very tight and feels like my muscles are pulling all the way from my abdomen down to my pubic area Is this normal

It is very normal to experience changes you never saw before prior to surgery.  Everything should smooth out by 3 months.  This is a great time to return to see your doctor and take photos so you can review your before/after pics.  If at that time (3 months) there are any noticeable skin irregularities you can discuss treatment options with your surgeon to correct them.  Two weeks is just the beginning of your healing process!  Best of luck with everything!

Thank you for your question. What you are experiencing is most likely swelling and induration which is very common following any form of liposuction. Our post-op regimen includes lymphatic massage, Venus Legacy and acoustic wave therapy to help this resolve more quickly. it is very common for things to feel tight and sore and swollen and look somewhat uneven. you will keep improving each week. However, your results will continue to improve for 6 months so you need to be patient.david berman md
