It is not abnormal to have a little bit of soreness and slight bruising following treatment with Juvederm. If the discomfort persists, I would recommend following up with your provider. I hope this helps, and best of luck!
Soreness the day after injection with Juvederm is not unusual. Bruising and swelling are common as well. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
It is not at all unusual to have some soreness to an area treated with Juvederm the day after the injection. Normally, this should improve within a few days. If for some reason, your soreness is getting worse, you should see your treating physician.
Soreness and brusing may occur after soft tissue filler treatment, such as Juvederm. Best is to call and consider following-up with the injecting doctor.
Juvederm Ultra is better tolerated during injection than plain Juvederm. However, it is not uncommon to feel some soreness especially if there is a bruise or hematoma (unuasual but possible). If it persists, seek the provider who did the injection for evaluation.
It is not uncommon to have some soreness in some spots after juvederm injections. It should get better after a few days.
Swelling and soreness after a Juvederm (or any injection for that matter) is quite common. It may be worse if a bruise occurred. A little ice will help, and your symptoms should resolve in a few days to a week. If you feel extreme tenderness or pain, then you should see your physician immediately to ensure there isn't an infection or vascular compromise to the treated area.
Soreness or Pain Days After Juvederm Injections may happen, and is related to the actual injection and manipulation of the treated area. Soreness may last just a few days, while bruising, if present, will resolve in 7 to 10 days.
It is very common to have some tenderness and even mild swelling for a few days after your injection with Juvederm or any other filler. Some patients even have some bruising in the area of the filler injections that can last around a week. Your soreness should resolve after a few more days and the filled area should feel soft and natural.
Tenderness after injections is normal. Many patients experience some tightness, irritation, and soreness after filler injections. However, if the pain feels unusual or you are experiencing a lot of discomfort, I would return to your injector for further assessment.
In general, Juvederm lasts for 6-7 months on average, and sometimes longer. The amount of time it lasts can vary depending on the amount of filler used and the location. Waiting is an option. However, if you are in the hands of a professional, dissolving the filler with hyaluronidase can yield a...
Thank you for your question. Final results from injections can take 2 weeks. I would wait during this period and continue camouflage. Redness, bruising, and swelling are common after treatments. If the redness does not subside, you should definitely follow up for an evaluation. I would recommend...
If you are going to try filler in that area, I would suggest considering Belotero, which was designed to be injected very superficially.
Juvederm, depending upon the volumetric amount injected, may have given a tightening effect to the skin envelope. In addition, there is some subtle scarring that can occur with any injection.
Thank you for your question and for sharing your concern. For dermal fillers like Restylane or Juvederm, I would not recommend waiting any period of time after stopping Accutane or even while on Accutane. This would be very different if I was combining dermal filler's with any energy device...
Juvederm in the tear troughs may not be the best choice. An enzyme can be used to degrade the Juvederm. Give this a few weeks before switching to Restylane if necessary.
