Smiling and laughing after few days post PDO thread lifts on cheeks. Will this affect my recovery?

Hi, i understand that we need to minimize dramatic ducal expression as part of the recovery however I can’t completely stop myself from laughing at certain times. I felt sharp pain / soreness when I do laugh. Will this affect my recovery?

Hello nightingale111, Thank you for your question. 
In my experience, the recommendation I make to my patients, is to continue their lives as usual. The recovery will come inevitably, the healing will not be significantly affected by your facial expressions, but your mood and anxiety levels about it will. So I always say, Just don't go and purposely make funny/very expressive faces the first week or so, but otherwise just normal laughing and smiling and speaking and everything. :)
