I am thinking of having Smart Lipo done for my lower abs and thighs. I will meet with a doctor next week. What kind of questions should I ask the doctor to determine how qualified he is and if he is right for me? Thanks so much!

Your definition of "hard core" work out is more strenuous than others. For physical contact type of sports I would start non- strenuous training at non-contact sports 3-4 weeks after surgery, progress to weight training at 6 weeks, and after 3 months would recommend to tolerance contact sports...
Treating the "banana roll" is not as simple as it seems. I think the banana roll is not a distinct accumulation of fat or a fat pocket. Rather I think it is a folding of skin caused from the weight of the buttock and somewhat loose skin.

...after all, you had SmartLipo to shrink and tighten the skin. Allowing it to become swollen and stretched out by removing compression too soon, in my opinion, undoes the surgery. Wear the garment until you don't have noticeable swelling and your result will be much better.
