Question

Will invisalgin be able to fix the problem? I had braces when I was younger but it was such a miserable experience that I refused to go back for checkups. I'm really hoping that invisalign can do the trick or I will just live with the crooked teeth

Orthodontics has come a long way since you were a child. I suggest visiting an orthodontist and discussing your interest in Invisalign vs. conventional orthodontics. You don't need to live with crooked teeth.

It appears that you may have more problems than just  misalignment of your front teeth. I cannot then tell if you have a deep overbite you or if you have excessive overjet (upper teeth protruding  beyond the lower teeth).  It also appears that you have constricted, narrow arches.  All of these issues can contribute to occlusal problems.  To answer your question, yes Invisalign can straighten your teeth. But you may better be served  with more extensive treatment.  The problem s I addressed above may also be able to be corrected with Invisalign.  I would recommend that you visit an Orthodontist that provides Invisalign treatment. Then you can find out what can be done and make an informed decision.
