I agree that you must wait a minimum of 3 months before it can be removed. The longer the better. The best and quickest treatment is with the Picosure laser. It can remove the tattoo completely without scarring in half the time and half the number of treatments, than a Q-switch: about 4-6 sessions. Black ink responds very well. Find a doctor with a Picosure Laser.

The recommendations that you will read across the board is to wait three months for healing until you have that removed with a laser. Some MAT recommend 2 weeks for complete epithelialization of the skin 'if you are in a big rush to get it removed'.It is a black ink tattoo so a Q switched laser or a picosecnd laser will do the trick in as few as 4 session, sometimes 8-10.
