Silicone Lip Injections Cost

Silicone injections to the lips should be approached with caution. I perform silicone lip removal for patients who have undergone silicone and now have a chronic inflammatory response. In my Santa Monica plastic surgery office, I feel that the elective use of silicone injections to the lips should be minimized.

Liquid silicone is unsafe, please do not use it ever. The autoimmune response could be triggered by this substance, if you look around on the Internet, you will find patients that have a lot of problems with this product. The initial medical use was only for retine problems.  
The Biopolymers cause a severe inflammatory reaction, known as Iatrogenic Allogenosis and Autoimmune Syndrome (A.S.I.A. Syndrome), then the use of any substance that is permanent is not advised, it also could migrate at the initial injection suddenly, via retrograde arterial flow, at blood stream to organs and even to the lungs; that would be a catastrofic event. Any type of silicone injections are very dangerous for your body. It doesn´t matter if it is dense or less dense, if it has more weight or less molecular weight, if you recognized the brand or not, the problem is that the immune system reacts against them and produces inflammations and degeneration of the tissues, then the recommendation is not to inject it never. So, if you want to increase your lips, you have to use safe substances that are resorbable like hyaluronic acid; there are brands like Juvederm and Restylane that are qualified, within the Juvederm family, it exists Juvederm Voluma, that has a durability of 2 years approximately. The cost is more expensive but you will not risk your health.
Please remember to be aware, do not let any permanenrt filler to be injected into your face, breast, buttocks, calfs, genitalia, etc.
