Does Thermage FLX require maintenance sessions every 6-12 months?

The original Thermage achieved the best results with maintenance treatments. Does this still apply with the newer Thermage FLX? If so, would it still be every 6-12 months for these maintenance sessions?

However, since skin aging and loss of elasticity are natural processes, repeating the treatment in the following years can be beneficial to maintain and optimize the results. While not strictly required, occasional sessions can help enhance and prolong the aesthetic outcome.

Hello, Thermage treatments don’t require maintenance sessions every 6 or 12 months. The cost of the applicator is quite high, yet the effects are highly noticeable. Whether it's FLX or CPT, the effect settles in about 6 months, so there's no need for extra maintenance during this time. Thermage is a treatment protocol administered in a single session that has a long-lasting effect for many years. It doesn't disrupt daily life and is a painless, comfortable, and effective non-surgical facelift treatment.
While CPT raises subcutaneous tissues to 56°C, FLX raises it to 80°C. There are no defined maintenance sessions for any of the Thermage models. Whether it's CPT or FLX, they are both single-session treatments that achieve final results in 6 months. The results are long-lasting. Even if one aims to enhance or improve the effect, it's not recommended to undergo Thermage again before 2 years.

Hi and thank you for your question! We have found that regular thermage FLX treatments of 675-900 pulses for the face and neck require annual treatment, once a year to maintain results!
