I had liposuction on my thighs in October 2020. I did not need to have it done, and I deeply regret my decision. My surgeon completely botched my thighs. I have ripples and indents that I never had before. Is there anything that can be done to correct this issue?

Answer: Correcting Liposuction results To make an assessment on the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we always need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures to contact her surgeon and ask him to forward the pictures they took. And assessment also requires understanding your age since age has a lot to do with a persons for having liposuction.Corrective action is difficult ability to improve. The outcome depends on the patient initials procedure procedure was performed. The most difficult cases outcomes in which case the patient was done in an aggressive manner. Improving liposuction results is typically done either with Revision, Liposuction, fat transfer, or a combination of both. Sometimes the results moved by converting the procedure to a skin tightening operation like a tummy tuck for the abdomen, or a thigh lift for the thigh. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results, including the ability to make accurate assessments in regards to patient’s candidacy is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons he mastered this procedure or in a small minority. Being bored, certified in plastic surgery with years of experience, in an overall good reputation is not mean if somebody has mastered anyone single procedure, especially Liposuction. Most plastic Stardance think they’re better at Liposuction than they actually are. Debility to improve the outcome varies dramatically from case to case, and to make an accurate assessment we need quality information. Typically, some improvements can almost always be had, but getting substantial improvements may require multiple procedures and results may still be inherently limited. bringing you back to pre-procedure is probably not realistic. Considering that revision work as many times more difficult than primary Liposuction, the importance of choosing the right provider goes without saying. I suggest patients start the process by having at least five in person, consultations with plastic surgeons who seem to do a lot of liposuction. If fat transfer is used to improve the outcome in plastic surgeons, need to be vented not only for Liposuction skills, but also for fat transfer skills. And experience plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing the best results of a providers career is insufficient in regards to understanding what average results look like in the hands of each provider. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of previous patient with similar body characteristics to your own for whatever procedure you are contemplating. Revision work is not nearly as common as primary liposuction, so you may not find providers, even those who have dedicated their career to doing this procedure that have substantial collections of pictures representing revision work. In the end, the decision of attempting improving your outcome is a combination of first and foremost finding the right provider, second understanding your candidacy for the revision work with what that can, or cannot accomplish and combining this with your motivation recognizing that only partial improvements can be had. It’s also important to recognize that attempts and improving liposuction results can easily make things much worse. This is especially the case if people simply go in and remove more fat. There are times when results can be improved with secondary liposuction alone, but this is usually not the case when the procedure was done on someone who shouldn’t of had liposuction in the first place.
